I feel like every week is a new attack. It's so tiring, and I hate that that is the point of all this overload. It's so sad - little do they know or even care that the start of these conservation efforts ARE deeply rooted in our identify as Americans. I certainly took a more cultural heritage perspective and felt even some national pride when I started getting into it.

Not just every week, it’s pretty much every other day right now. This year has been crazy. I’m doing this by myself and it’s really hard to pick something to focus on and fight for consistently because there’s just SO much going on.

Like, the list is soooo long.

The thing is, though, the more they keep “flooding the zone,” the more fired up I get—and I know I’m not alone.

I simply refuse for them to wear me down. I’m using these constant assaults as fuel. I’m going to make these constant attacks backfire on them—and they will.

With some regular, much-needed and well-earned outside time to compensate and reset, we can totally weather this.

And just because public lands provide amazing mental health benefits and physical exercise, they allow us to keep defending them for a long time, too. It’s a wonderful mutually beneficial relationship, really.

Thanks for being part of the defense!

I commend your tenacity and passion in this! I can't imagine how draining all that tracking must be. Thank you for the deep dives and articles so readers like me can tune in!

You’re not wrong. It’s more shock and awe, flood the zone bullshit

Thank you for suggesting where to donate to support the fight against this unlawful action. Calling our reps won't help since no approval was requested! Noem must be stopped, and that is something we can contact Congress about.
